kathy dalwood design is a small design-led company headed by Kathy Dalwood
a respected and innovative British designer with a constantly expanding portfolio of
interests, expertise and vision in the context of design.
The portfolio currently encompasses three evolving strands:

Alongside
the established product collections and sculptures
illustrated throughout the website, the company
also manufactures to commission, responding to
clients' brief to produce arresting, unique pieces
which not only enhance, but also positively differentiate
an exterior or interior contemporary design scheme

All
products are manufactured in the UK using a combination
of up-to-date technology and traditional hand-made
methods of fabrication.
An
exciting new direction is working in collobortion
with manufacturers and retailers. Design store
Habitat are manufacturing a kathy
dalwood collection entitled setsquares
comprising a range of 6 products - vases and decorative
wall panels. They will be available in all stores
from Autumn 2007.

The Baroque Collection
was short-listed in the Outdoor Product Category
The Awards highlight the 'hero' products that define a year
in design and decoration and are selected by a panel of high-profile
figures in the interior design industry.

2004 100% Tiles at 100% Design - setsquares tiles shortlisted in Designboom competition
2003
The cast collection was
also chosen by Rob Cassy for inclusion in his book Garden
UK (Pub.Conran Octopus)
2001
Concrete planters from the Cast Collection,
Modernist range, were selected for the seminal exhibition
at the RIBA Gallery "Hardcore
- Concrete's Rise from Utility to Luxury" and
subsequently featured in the book Concrete
Design by Sarah Gaventa (Pub. Mitchell Beazley)
Both authors
write in detail about the collection, looking at the design
themes and exploration of material as well as the collections'
placement in the current design arena.
